Academic profile

Portrait of Kherian in a classical collage

Logic as a philosophical problem.
Philosophy from a logical point of view.

I investigate how formal systems reveal different ways of reasoning with inconsistency, incompleteness and opposition.

My background brings together degrees from UFOP and UFSC, postdoctoral research at UFRJ and teaching at UFPI. At its centre is the relationship between Philosophy and Mathematical Logic, particularly the development of non-classical logics and their applications.
